The Benton Park Concert Series kicked off this past weekend ! There will be a concert each month through October. The dates are copies below and the article from the Post-Dispatch is linked below.
— June 2, Blues in Benton Park concert with Nikki Hill at 5 p.m. and Murder City Players at 7 p.m.
— July 7, Benton Park’s Uncle Sam Throwdown with One More Round: A Tribute to Johnny Cash at 5 p.m. and Miss Jubilee and the Humdingers at 7 p.m.
— Aug. 7, Talent show at 5 p.m. and Lamar Harris and the L with DJ Alexis and Jingo at 7 p.m.
— Sept. 3, Benton Park Classic Bike Race Concert with Funky Butt Brass Band at 2 p.m. and Gumbohead at 4 p.m.
— Oct. 6, Benton Park Art and Harvest Festival with Blues Judge at 1 p.m., Scandalous at 5 p.m. and Jake’s Leg at 7 p.m.
The BPNA is doing a great job circulating the postcards shown above and other marketing materials to promote what is happening in the park this season!
